Ivan is a sociopath and suffers from erotophonophilia (sexual arousal or gratification contingent on the death of a human being).
Sexuality: Bi
Personality: On the outside, he seems to be one of the friendliest of the doctors and always seems to have the patients' interests and well-being at heart. However, to his victims, he has the cruelty of a child and the mind of a sadistic, blood thirsty killer who has an endless supply of 'toys' at his disposal.
Background: As a child, he bore witness to the death of his mother when his stepfather beat and stabbed her to death. When his father went after him next, that was the first time he learned how much pleasure killing others slowly brought him. He was never caught for the murder and ran away from home that night. For the time after that, he lived with his kind aunt who took good care of him from then on until he grew up. When his aunt got sick, he vowed to become a doctor to help take care of her, but she passed before Ivan graduated medical school because the doctors wouldn't admit her for some reason. Devastated, he swore to get revenge on the person who had denied his only loved one proper medical care.
Well, one day as a matter of coincidence, he ran into said man in a coffee shop. Recognizing the man's face, he followed the man back to his house where he broke in and tore the man apart. There were no other witnesses and no evidence that could lead back to Ivan as the murderer, so he got off scott free once more. Also, with that second taste of blood fresh in his mind, his eyes settled on the old asylum that could be seen from the top of the dead doctor's home. In the dark quiet of the night, he could almost hear the screams from that demented building and closed his eyes as the pained voices made music in his ears. Two years after the brutal murder of that long forgotten doctor, Ivan Braginski had become one of the top doctors at The Asylum.
