Personality: Ludwig has a very professional attitude, to the point of coldness. He does not show emotion readily, often leading him to be feared. But, in reality, Ludwig is a kind, diplomatic individual who prefers to solve problems with his mind rather than his fists. However, he will not budge as far as his morals are concerned. If diplomacy results in something against what Ludwig perceives as good, he will fight it. He is the same with those he cares about. He will not allow them to be harmed, no matter the cost to him. He is fiercely loyal, with the demeanor and precision of a soldier.

Background: At age 18, Ludwig was taken on by the crew because of his diplomatic personality. He knew his skills could be of use in intergalactic relations, and he was eager to travel space, so he accepted. He has been largely successful in his efforts, and remains a valuable member of the crew to this day.
