Welcome to The Seven Seas where plundering and raping are the centre fold of the role plays. The role plays take place during the Golden Age of Piracy.
Some historians mark the beginning of the Golden Age of Piracy at around 1650, when the end of the Wars of Religion allowed European countries to resume the development of their colonial empires. This involved considerable seaborne trade, and a general economic improvement: there was money to be made—or stolen—and much of it travelled by ship.
French buccaneers had established themselves on northern Hispaniola as early as 1625, but lived at first mostly as hunters rather than robbers; their transition to full-time piracy was gradual and motivated in part by Spanish efforts to wipe out both the buccaneers and the prey animals on which they depended. The buccaneers' migration from Hispaniola's mainland to the more defensible offshore island of Tortuga limited their resources and accelerated their piratical raids.
A number of factors caused Anglo-American pirates, some of whom had cut their teeth during the buccaneering period; to look beyond the Caribbean for treasure as the 1690s began. The fall of Britain's Stuart kings had restored the traditional enmity between Britain and France.
The Mess Hall / Kitchen
The mess hall is the area of the ship where these buccaneers eat and share their happy moments together. Sometimes even here riots begin due to their drunken stupor.
The Bunks / Captain's Room
The bunks, located at the frontal end of the ship, serve as the quarters for the crew men of the ship. Hammocks are their beds, while the source of light comes from either a candle nearby or form the lantern provided. Scattered all over are garments of the crewmembers, swords and such.
At the rear end is the Captain’s quarters. Unlike the bunks of the crewmen, the captain’s room is lavishly decorated by the spoils he had handpicked himself from every single raid he had made. Ocean charts, world maps, compasses, telescopes and other sea navigational equipments of that era can also be found littered within the room. The captain’s bed is different for it is a real four poster bed screwed tightly on the wood for it not to move so much as to follow the tumbles and turns of the waves.
The Treasure Room
The treasure room is the pride and jewel of a pirate ship. Here, all the loot from various plunders made by the pirates is placed. This is also the main target of other pirate ships and so must be heavily guarded. Within the room are various treasure chests, gold, jewels from nobles and such as well as silk and other merchandise from travelling merchant ships.
The Port
The port is the docking place of every pirate ship. Here, trades are made as well as restocking of supplies and rations.
Also here, pirates take in new recruits as well as find their source of entertainment from the various
