Personality: Gilbert is loud and has a big ego. He is confident in battle but less confident in other matters. Gilbert is very Loyal to his king as well as King Kirkland. He sees loyalty as something to earn and still picks on Prince Arthur and sometimes blatantly will not do as he is told in order to toughen him up and learn some life lessons. (King Kirkland believe as long as he protects his son, Arthur could do with some toughening up in order to be king someday) Besides having a drink at the Taven and training he is usually found in the royal stables with his horse, He likes having time alone.

Background: Gilbert was born to fight and was raised as a warrior. Gilbert is son of nobility and mix of royalty from a neighboring kingdom. His father trained him from a young age to be a fighter and he spent a lot of time outside the regular court and luxuries of a noble training in the wilderness. His homeland and this kingdom are in an alliance. As part of maintaining a long lasting truce the two kings traded some promising warriors in a sign of 'kinship' and 'brotherhood'. Gilbert still carries the shield and tunic of his family (the Teutonic knight outfit) but as a sign of his knighthood too King Kirkland he wears a badge with the Kirkland coat of arms on his tunic. Gil has a whitish Grey stallion named Fritz which he adores. He is fast rising up the ranks to rival the senior knights of the kingdom.
