Character Name: Captain Arthur Kirkland
Age: 28
Appearance: (Need I say more?)
Class
(captain, wench, crew member, cabin boy): Captain
Sexuality: Isn't confined by such trivial notions
Personality:"Charming, Debonair,Strict, Disciplined and an up-tight jerk, but no better captain to sail under" This is what you will generally hear if you ask people about Captain Kirkland.
He knows how to inspire a crew and insult them at the same time. He's a rather congenial and amiable fellow to be around, and will tolerate a certain amount of teasing from his crew. However you will know the true wrath of this skilled and feared pirate, the moment you endanger his crew or insult him when you are not on his crew.
Arthur enjoys extremes, loving the thrill of battle and the quite moments when the sea is calm and the wind strong.
He generally speaks in an eloquent and flowery manner unless he's got his blood up.
Background:
Arthur comes from a long line of mariners, most of them in the British Navy. Arthur was basically raised on water, which has caused him to dislike being at port for any great length of time. At the age of 5 his moth died of the flu so his father had him put in the care of the Port master in Plymouth till he was old enough to be put aboard ship as a cabin boy.
However his stay aboard his first ever vessel came to an abrupt end when it was taken by a Pirate vessel were he was taken and made to serve them, at first he fought against having to obey them but soon found them to be no different from anyone else that lived on the docks, apart from the pirates had more pride and were ruthless when after something they wanted.
He soon found himself raising through the Pirate ranks till he took the title of Captin himself, and managed to get himself a realiable and grand looking ship which he called "M'Lady Titania" and a loyal yet quirky crew.
